Oftentimes we hear about rap stars not giving back to the community while at the same time they seem to make it a point to let the world know about all their riches.. A flamboyant Sean Puffy Combs shocked it last week when he went back to his alma mater, Howard University and donated 500 thousand dollars that are to be used for scholarships.. At a time when it seems like we as a society are more committed to building jails as aopposed to Univsersities, Sean Puffy Combs.. deserves his props on this one..

Puff will be following up with this generous donation at the ened of the month when he puts on a start studded affair in New York City for the Christopher Wallace Foundation. Named after his slain partner Biggie Smallz, this event which will be held in New York's Chelsea district is expected to raise a million dollars which will go to found school and recreation programs.. Finally let's not forget that Sean has an on going community based organization called Daddy's House which is headed by long time raptavist Sista Souljah..
